Soft strip demolition and removal of thermal pipe insulation were completed within the former DWP office building in Manchester ahead of planned demolition. Innov8 UK Group worked collaboratively with the client to build a stringent, phased programme that managed logistics, waste flows and interfaces. Sealed enclosures were established around the building perimeter to control works, maintain segregation and support sequential progression. Supervision and daily coordination ensured safe access, tidy working areas and programme certainty
On completion, the building was left suitably stripped and prepared, allowing the demolition contractor to mobilise smoothly into the next phase with clear sequencing and sign-off.
